When I am let out of my cell (rarely) I
reflect on what I have been learning. The
girls are catching on ?. Some have asked
about the book I am always reading. I share
what I have shared with you… plus
a little more. They see the glow in my face
that I feel in my heart. They see that my
words and actions are more wise than foolish
and they too want to be a part of what I
am now…filled with God’s spirit.
The girls that are curious of what its
like to be a child of God have asked for
the address to receive their own bibles.
There is a waiting list to read my new
book, “Set Free” the story of
Karla Faye Tucker.
I also pray for deputies now instead of…
(Well you know) Thanks to Romans 13!!
There are countless descriptions of why
I am happier than I have ever been even
though I am in Jail, thanks to Jesus.

Every little lesson I learn, I share. For example,
my new one: the definition (acronym) of J.O.Y.
(Jesus first, Others second and Yourself last),
I love that! I have had a very difficult time
in jail, but I am managing to turn my negative
situations into something positive. After all,
sometimes the worst thing that happens to us can
open the door for the best that God has to give

Now every time I go to court. I read Mark 13:11
– that helps!! ?

Oh yah I almost forgot:
Meanwhile, since being in jail, I lost my place
in Huntington Beach. My apartment was broken into
three times. I have lost everything but my precious
dog!
I even know who the thieves are and where they
live. (Wow how things have changed.) I told myself
that those people just helped me out without knowing
it. All of my clothes, shoes, furniture, computers,
and cameras were accumulated from the means of
my past. Selling my body and drugs helped to get
all of my possessions. The people that robbed
me also robbed me of all that evil, good riddance!
I hope that they are able to experience what I
have now though.
I almost feel sorry for them. I know that I do
forgive them. They obviously needed all that stuff
more than I do.
When I began to forgive those who have hurt me
in different ways I definitely knew I was a child
of God.
Feeling better than ever and choosing to do good,
I will continue to avoid evil like the plague.
Everyday is a positive learning experience!
